Article 53 of the Civil Code of the Republic of Belarus distinguished the following types.

Merger

As a result of the merger, each of the reorganized legal entities ceases to exist, and all there rights and obligations are transferred to the newly established legal entity in accordance with the transfer act.

Attachment

As a result of the attachment of one legal entity to another, the rights and obligations of the incorporated legal entity are transferred to the second one in accordance with the transfer act.

Demerger 

As a result of the demerger of one or several legal entities from the legal entity, the rights and obligations of the reorganized legal entity are transferred to each of them. All the rights and obligations transfer in accordance with the separation balance sheet, while the reorganized legal entity continues its activities.

Separation

As a result of the separation of a legal entity, it ceases to exist, and all the rights and obligations are transferred to newly established legal entities in accordance with the separation balance sheet.

Reconstruction

As a result of the reconstruction of a legal entity, it changes its legal form.
